The Aggies went from a nightmare to a top team in the SEC within the matter of days. The world was falling when head coach Jim Schlossnagle left for Texas, but the promotion of hitting coach Michael Earley has salvaged it. Jace LaViolette, Gavin Grahovac, Hayden Schott and Kaeden Kent have all announced their decisions to stay and they even went out and landed a top transfer in Gavin Kash from Texas Tech. With middle infielders Kent and Ali Amarillo returning, the fit is a bit complex, but surely Texas A&M would find a spot for a projected first-round pick.
