5 MLB teams that can make surprise run in season’s second half
HOUSTON (BVM) – While most MLB teams are closing in on 100 games played thus far in 2024, the unofficial second half of the season is ready to get underway following the All-Star break.
The 2024 MLB season has been an exciting one thus far with some emerging players and surprising teams. The Phillies, Orioles, Guardians and Yankees have been the MLB’s best squads through most of the spring and summer thus far, but several other teams could make noise down the stretch despite up-and-down seasons to this point.
There have been plenty of recent examples of teams getting hot in the final few months of the season to reach the World Series including the 2019 Nationals, the 2021 Braves, the 2022 Phillies and the 2023 Rangers. Now, a new squad will look to follow the same path in 2024.
