AUSTIN, Texas (BVM) – Texas high school football features some of the fastest players in the country, and the 2024 season will showcase athletes with top speeds that are fit for an NFL player.
The Lone Star State consistently produces athletes who push the boundaries of speed and agility. Last season, Humble Atascocita senior wide receiver and LSU football commit Jelani Watkins was dubbed “the fastest high school football player in the country” thanks to his 10.19 wind-legal 100-meter dash time on the track.
