DeSoto High School’s Caleb Holmes has clocked a 10.35-second 100-meter time, as well as a 21.81 in the 200m. 

As a junior during the 2023 football season, the cornerback tallied 39 tackles, 18 pass breakups and one interception. He helped DeSoto go undefeated and win the 6A D-II state championship. 

The rising senior cornerback the Class of 2025 received a three-star ranking in June. His D-I offers include Abilene Christian and North Alabama.
