Top 10 Alabama HS football players in Class of 2025
8. KJ Lacey, QB, Saraland
Lacey is the top quarterback in Alabama’s senior class and is poised for a strong finish to his incredibly successful prep career at Saraland this fall. Lacey has helped the Spartans go 31-5 while under center and has led them to back-to-back 6A state title appearances. Saraland won the state championship game in 2022, and despite a loss last year, Lacey set a 6A title game record with 389 passing yards. That was part of 3,448 yards that Lacey had overall on the year in addition to 42 passing touchdowns, eight interceptions and five scores on the ground. As just a sophomore in 2022, Lacey also had a 3,000-yard passing season with 40 touchdowns. The 6-foot, 175-pound four-star recruit is a pure, accurate passer and strong leader, qualities that should also help him at the next level at Texas.
