Top 10 Alabama HS football players in Class of 2025
4. Malik Autry, DL, Opelika
Autry is rated as a five-star, top-30 recruit nationally in the Class of 2025 by 247Sports and he has a bright future ahead at the collegiate and potentially pro level in part thanks to his 6-foot-6, 320-pound size. Autry has been a force on Opelika’s defensive line the past couple of seasons, making 23 tackles, two tackles for loss and two sacks as a sophomore in 2022 before showing continued improvement as a junior last season when he racked up 56 total tackles, nine tackles for loss and 3 1/2 sacks. The Opelika senior is a talented athlete for his size and his quick burst and explosiveness make him a tremendous run-stopper who can also get to the quarterback. That ability will be on full display this fall at Opelika and as he joins many of the state’s top seniors at Auburn in the near future.
