Top 10 Wisconsin HS football players in Class of 2025
10. Eli Johnson, TE, River Falls
Johnson is one of many skilled tight ends in Wisconsin’s senior class who will soon play in the Big Ten at Iowa after committing to the Hawkeyes this past March. Johnson may just have what it takes to become the next star in a line of tremendous Iowa tight ends over the years and has proven his talent on the field time and again at River Falls. The 6-foot-5, 225-pound Johnson, who has also starred on the hardwood for the Wildcats, put up over 200 yards receiving and six touchdowns last season while showcasing his athleticism and strong route-running ability. That should again be on full display as he looks to build on those numbers in his senior season before heading to Iowa City.
I'm proud to announce my verbal commitment to play football for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Thanks to Coach Hodge, Coach Ferentz and all Hawkeye staff on this journey, as well as my coaches and teammates. @TheIowaHawkeyes @CoachFerentz @Abdul_Hodge @uiowa @HawkeyeFootball @TylerBarnesIOWA pic.twitter.com/3EHi1IJNDt
