8. Jared Lockhart, Sr., Porter Ridge

Lockhart played the first season of his high school career with the West Mecklenburg Hawks before joining the Pirates, where he’s played the past two years. The three-star recruit according to On3 posted a 9-3 record as the starter last season, completing 62.4% of his pass attempts for 1,321 yards and 12 touchdowns with three interceptions. Lockhart holds offers to play collegiately for Boston College, Syracuse and UConn, among others.
