Shepard is a legitimate star in track and field, most notably in the triple jump and the 400-meter dash. That translates well against cornerbacks. The Mississippi State commit’s speed and athleticism should be a perfect fit in Jeff Lebby’s offense when he gets to Starkville, but for now, the Baton Rouge standout will be on display for one more season in Louisiana.
