10 drivers with best chance to win NASCAR Cup Series championship
PHOENIX (BVM) – The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series playoffs are underway as 16 drivers will compete for a championship across the final 10 weeks of the season.
Joey Logano opened the postseason with a victory in the Quaker State 400 at Atlanta to begin the Round of 16. In a couple of weeks, the playoff field will be cut down to 12 drivers, and it will eventually be cut down again to eight by mid-October. The drivers who reach the Championship 4 will compete for a title at Phoenix Raceway on Sunday, Nov. 10.
Several notable names make up this year’s playoff field including last year’s champion, Ryan Blaney, all four Hendrick Motorsports drivers and a couple of other young stars searching for their first championship.
