Chicago Bears Roster Moves: Ryan Bates Placed on Injured Reserve
The Bears made some roster moves today. On Saturday, the Chicago Bears placed offensive lineman Ryan Bates on injured reserve, which means he'll miss at least four games. In a corresponding roster move, the Bears signed long snapper Scott Daly from the practice squad. They also elevated wide receiver Collin Johnson from the practice squad for Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans. Bates was nursing an injury during the offseason, but he was able to play last week in a rotation with Nate Davis at right guard.
