6 MLB standouts who could become intriguing free agents
(BVM) – Options in MLB contracts have become popular throughout the league, either giving the player or franchise security. It creates a wrinkle in free agency every offseason as the complete pool of available players is unknown until these decisions are made.
There are some that will obviously be picked up like Jordan Montgomery’s $20-million player option and Robbie Ray’s option for $25 million, but others could have a clear choice to test the market.
