6 MLB standouts who could become intriguing free agents
Blake Snell, San Francisco Giants
Snell was off to a rough start with the Giants, but he has turned it around, looking like the Cy Young-caliber pitcher he is. The 31-year-old southpaw has a 3.52 ERA on the season, but he has a 2.35 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP in his last 15 starts. Snell has a $38.5-million player option for 2025, but he should be able to receive the bountiful, long-term deal in the offseason that he has been searching for.
