Sailing Places Eighth at CofC Fall Inter Conference

CHARLESTON, S.C. (Sept. 29, 2024) …Hampton University sailing team placed eighth at the CofC Fall Inter Conference hosted by Charleston. The field consisted of 11 teams. This weekend's regatta was the first time the Pirates sailed in Charleston, S.C. since the 2008-09 season. Hampton was close to finishing in the top five only missing by 14 points. Hampton's A division only had seven top-ten finishes. Their best finish of the regatta came during the ninth and 11th races. HU placed seventh in both of those races.
