Top 5 Hart Trophy candidates for 2024-25 NHL season
(BVM) – Nathan MacKinnon put together a terrific season in 2023-24 with 51 goals and 140 points. The Colorado Avalanche forward also led the league with 405 shots. After finishing in the top five for the Hart Trophy voting four separate times, MacKinnon finally won the prestigious award.
He enters this season as a potential frontrunner for the award as he looks to be the first repeat winner since Alexander Ovechkin did it in 2007-08 and 2008-09.
These are the top candidates alongside MacKinnon to win the NHL’s MVP trophy this season.
