Top 5 richest Michigan Wolverines based on NIL
3. Colston Loveland
Loveland entered the 2024 season as the nation’s top-ranked tight end with 50,000 Instagram followers, culminating in his NIL valuation of $663,000.
He signed with Michigan’s NIL collective and joined its “Those That Stay” campaign, which aims to prevent star Wolverines from transferring by providing NIL payouts.
“There’s a lot of people hitting us up, pulling us every which way,” Loveland responded to WXYZ Detroit 7 when asked about the NIL era and different programs pulling at him to transfer. “We sat down, had a meeting, coach Moore was there the whole time, we all just kind of made a decision: ‘Yeah, we’re gonna stay here, Michigan has done us well.’”
As a Wolverine, Loveland has acquired brand deals with companies such as Chevy of Highland, Allstate and M Den for trading cards.
Michigan TE Colston Loveland released limited-edition trading cards today through The M Den.
He caught touchdown passes against Ohio State and Purdue last season.
