There were a lot of questions about how the Predators’ goalie room would shake out in the long run, but general manager Barry Trotz shut down any noise by giving Saros an eight-year extension. The 29-year-old Finnish goalie led the league in games played and saves last season and is without a doubt one of the best players at his position.
