5. Thurman Thomas, RB (1984-87)

College football fans may forget the dominance of Thomas because of Barry Sanders, but he is still an icon in Stillwater. He has a school record of 897 carries in four years, rushing for 4,595 yards and 42 touchdowns. Thomas placed in the top 10 of the Heisman voting in 1985 and 1987 and led the Big Eight Conference in rushing both seasons.
