6. Dwight Freeney, DE (1998-01)
A threat to all quarterbacks, Freeney ranks second on the all-time Syracuse sack list with 34.0 and third on the Big East career record sacks list. He recorded 50.5 tackles for loss throughout his college career and had a sack in 14 straight games at one point. During his senior season, Freeney also set the NCAA record for fumbles forced with eight, and recovered with three. He was drafted 11th overall by the Indianapolis Colts in the 2002 NFL Draft and went on to play for 16 seasons. He was just inducted into the Professional Football Hall of Fame this year.
