5. Tim Green, DT (1982-85)

Green owns several Syracuse records including career sacks with 45.5 and career tackles with 341. He’s a Syracuse All-Century Team member and had his jersey, 72, retired in 2019, the first predominantly defensive player in the program’s 129-year history. Green went on to play for the Atlanta Falcons after being selected as the 27th overall pick in the 1986 draft.
