Ranking the top 10 Buffalo Sabres players of all time
10. Thomas Vanek, W (2005-13)
Vanek had immense hype when he joined the Sabres organization as the fifth overall pick in the 2003 NHL Draft. The Austrian winger was not one of the top players in the league, but he went on to have a great tenure in Buffalo. The 2009 All-Star had 497 points with the Sabres in 598 games with the franchise.
