Diontae Johnson expected to be traded: 5 possible landing spots
Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Buccaneers probably wouldn’t have been viewed as a suitor for Johnson just a week ago, but things change quickly in the NFL. In Tampa Bay’s Week 7 Monday Night Football loss to the Ravens, the Bucs saw Mike Evans go down in the first half with a hamstring injury that is expected to keep him out for multiple weeks, while slot receiver Chris Godwin suffered a gruesome ankle injury in the closing minutes of the game that will likely sideline him for the remainder of the season. That may make adding a receiver a priority for general manager Jason Licht, especially with how well Baker Mayfield is playing and the Bucs squarely in the mix to win the NFC South. Johnson would be a reliable option to add alongside rookie Jalen McMillan and veteran Sterling Shepard, and could eventually form a nice duo with Evans late in the year.
