Khalil Herbert could be ‘subject of calls’; 5 landing spots
CHICAGO (BVM) – The Chicago Bears have had a fantastic start to the season, sitting at 4-2 entering Week 8, but they could still trade one of their players. Chicago has a deep running back room with D’Andre Swift, Roschon Johnson and now the return of Travis Homer from injury.
This makes it possible for the Bears to move on from Khalil Herbert who is in the final year of his rookie deal. Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported Saturday that the running back “could be the subject of calls.”
The 26-year-old ran for over 600 yards in each of the past two seasons, but he only has eight carries in 2024.
These are the teams who could use Herbert in a committee-like role.
