Top 5 richest Ohio State Buckeyes based on NIL
5. Julian Sayin
Sayin has seen limited action on the gridiron being a true freshman, but he is already one of Ohio State’s richest NIL athletes, narrowly beating out veteran wideout Emeka Egbuka who is also a top-100 NIL earner. Sayin already has an NIL valuation of $946,000, an impressive number for a freshman.
One of Sayin’s most notable NIL deals comes from Ohio State’s collective, The Foundation, created by real estate developer and lifelong Buckeyes fan Brian Schottenstein alongside former Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones. The Foundation likely played a significant role in swaying Sayin to Columbus as the five-star quarterback from California was enrolled at Alabama before transferring to Ohio State in January. Sayin also signed a multiyear partnership with Panini America shortly after he arrived in Columbus.
A lot of hype surrounds the talented 6-foot-1, 205-pound quarterback following a terrific prep career at Carlsbad High School. Sayin has taken the field at the end of two blowout victories for the Buckeyes thus far, completing five passes for 84 yards and a touchdown. He will be in the mix to take over for Will Howard next season and has a high ceiling when it comes to both his play on the field and potential NIL earnings.
Julian Sayin has inked an NIL deal with Ohio State-driven NIL collective The Foundation.
The No. 2 quarterback in the 2024 recruiting class has a $769K On3 NIL Valuation. Roughly 90% of the dollars in the NIL marketplace come from collectives.
