9. Sam Perkins (1980-84)

Perkins accumulated many accolades in North Carolina, including three first-team All-ACC selections, three first-team All-American selections and an ACC Rookie of the Year award. He was a key piece to North Carolina’s second NCAA title in 1982 and averaged 15.9 points and 8.6 rebounds during his career. Perkins ranks third in school history with 1,167 rebounds and 245 blocks and fourth with 2,145 points.
