Galena downs McQueen to take girls soccer 4A-North Regional championship

Two years removed from its previous Regional championship, the Galena girls soccer team is back. Galena beat McQueen, 3-0 on Saturday at Gakena to claim the Class 4A-North Regionak soccer title. McQueen won the Regional last year, beating Bishop Manogue in the final. In 2022, Galena beat McQueen in 2022. Galena (7-0-1 league, 17-3-3 overall) and McQueen (7-1-1, 11-10-2 overall) both advance to the 4A state tournament, Friday-Saturday in Las Vegas.
