The Syracuse Orange had little trouble with collecting win No.1 on the year with a 108-84 win over Niagara Purple Eagles in their season opener. Six players scored in double figures for the Orange, led by Kyra Wood's 19 points on 9-12 shooting to go along with 8 rebounds while Georgia Woolley added 18 points in the win.
