Top 10 Big Ten basketball players for the 2024-25 season

10. Brooks Barnhizer, G, Northwestern

Northwestern will need multiple players to pick up the slack with Boo Buie gone and Barnhizer will likely become the focal point for the Wildcats in his senior season. The 6-foot-6, 230-pound guard had a breakout junior campaign in 2023-24 as he averaged 14.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.6 assists. While Buie was the top 3-point shooter in the conference, Barnhizer was also one of the best as he shot 34.8% from deep and 42.9% overall. Barnhizer is a solid defender with good size at the guard position and averaged just shy of two steals per game last season as well. The talented senior does a little bit of everything for Chris Collins and another strong campaign could help Northwestern continue its recent ascension.
