San Francisco was disappointing in 2024 and Andrew Baggarly of The Athletic reported that the team is expected to reduce its payroll. Santander should receive a sizable contract, but it is important to remember that Blake Snell and Michael Conforto are coming off the books. The DH spot has not been productive for the Giants and Santander would change that.
