Women’s Swimming & Diving Splits Saturday’s Home Tri-Meet With Win Over Merrimack
JERSEY CITY, N.J.- Saint Peter's University Women's Swimming & Diving split Saturday's home tri-meet against Sacred Heart University and Merrimack College. The women's team defeated Merrimack by nine points, 135-126. Saint Peter's came up on the losing end of the head-to-head against Sacred Heart, 182-79. The Peacocks had a strong showing throughout the meet. Maddie McKinney claimed the first-place finish in the Women's 1,000-Yard Freestyle heat in the third event of the day. McKinney followed that up with two second-place performances in the Women's 100-Yard Backstroke and Women's 500-Yard Freestyle.
