Airey Earns CUSA Freshman of the Week

RUSTON – Louisiana Tech's forward Isla Airey was named Conference USA Freshman of the Week for her performances against Mississippi Valley and Southeastern, the league announced on Monday. Airey has made a significant impact for the Lady Techsters this season, coming off the bench. Against Mississippi Valley, the Australian recorded her second double-double of the season with 12 points and 11 rebounds, adding five blocks and three steals.
