Ha-Seong Kim’s free agency: 5 possible landing spots

The Giants’ new president of baseball operations Buster Posey is looking to add a shortstop this offseason and Kim seems like the perfect candidate. Manager Bob Melvin coached him for two seasons in San Diego and outfielder Jung Hoo Lee played with him on Team Korea in the World Baseball Classic. Kim has the opportunity to stay in the state he’s played his entire MLB career and his signing would allow utilityman Tyler Fitzgerald to find his permanent place in the field.
