Jimenez named to D2CCA All-Southeast Region Second Team

WINGATE, N.C. - Mars Hill junior libero Laela Jimenez was named to the 2024 D2CCA All-Southeast Region Second Team, as announced Wednesday morning. Jimenez earned the same distinction last season. The All-SAC First Team honoree led the conference with 5.73 digs per set, good for fourth in the nation while adding 103 assists and 19 aces. Jimenez, a native of Naples, Florida, is third in the nation in digs per set and has helped lead the Lions to the top spot in the country as the team leads all others in Division II, averaging over 20 digs per set.
