10 most impactful players for 2024 NCAA volleyball tournament

Creighton may be slightly under the radar as the tournament begins despite earning a No. 2 seed, but the Bluejays have an immense amount of talent that could lead them on a run in the coming weeks. Six Bluejays were named All-Big East players this season, but Wait is the leader of the group as the 2024 Big East Player of the Year and the conference’s setter of the year. The 5-foot-10 senior won the same awards last season as part of a highly decorated career in Omaha but has had perhaps her best campaign in 2024 with 1,130 assists overall and 11.08 assists per set, a top-10 mark in the country. Wait has also added 299 digs and 21 service aces. She may not be the most recognizable name on this list, but Wait has the 29-2 Bluejays poised for postseason success.
