Chubba Purdy transferring: 5 possible landing spots
RENO, Nev. (BVM) – Nevada QB Chubba Purdy, the brother of San Francisco 49ers star Brock, was once an intriguing prospect himself. ESPN ranked Purdy as a top-five QB recruit in the Class of 2020 out of Perry High School in Queen Creek, Arizona.
His career has not gone to plan, as he is once again in the NCAA transfer portal looking for his fourth school in the last five years (Florida State, Nebraska, Nevada). Purdy has one year of eligibility remaining with only 187 career pass attempts.

He can either join a small school with a higher chance of starting or latch on to a bigger program and serve as a veteran emergency backup. These are five programs that could make sense for Purdy.
