Top 10 Washington boys basketball players in Class of 2025
5. Leyton Martin, PG, Arlington
Basketball just comes naturally to some and Martin often makes the game look easy. The 6-foot point guard is a terrific athlete who has also excelled at quarterback for Arlington on the gridiron. His talent has been equally impressive on the hardwood as Martin is a good shooter and sees the court well with nice passing ability. That skill set was on full display throughout a junior season where Martin averaged 25.9 points, 8.5 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 3.6 steals while leading the Eagles to their first-ever district championship. He also became a 1,000-point scorer and set program records for most points in a single season (676) and single game (43). Martin will likely be one of the top scorers in Washington again this season before potentially playing collegiately where he has generated some Division II interest from schools like Seattle Pacific.
