Darian Mensah transferring: 5 landing spots for freshman QB
Missouri Tigers
Adding a transfer quarterback could be a priority for multiple SEC teams this offseason and Missouri may be near the top of that list. Brady Cook has thrived for the Tigers over the past couple of seasons but is out of eligibility. Backup Drew Pyne could be back in Columbia next year, while Mizzou will also add four-star signal caller Matt Zollers in its 2025 class. Still, Mensah would be a splash addition who is likely an upgrade on Pyne and would allow Zollers some time to learn and get 100% right from an ankle injury he suffered in his final high school season. With a similar skill set to Cook, Missouri’s offensive scheme led by head coach Eli Drinkwitz and offensive coordinator Kirby Moore seems like it would fit Mensah well.
