The Red Raiders are the easiest connection to make for the Sun Belt running back. Texas Tech hired 30-year-old Mack Leftwich as its offensive coordinator from the Texas State staff. Mahdi could look to stick with a coach and offense he is familiar with. Current starter Tahj Brooks no longer has eligibility, making the Red Raiders more likely.
