Marvin Jones Jr. transferring: 5 possible landing spots
Tallahassee, Fla. (BVM) – Florida State defensive lineman Marvin Jones Jr. has entered the transfer portal for the second straight year. The junior edge rusher has one season of remaining eligibility.

Jones Jr. played his prep career at American Heritage School in Plantation, Fla. where he became a top-25 prospect in the nation in the Class of 2022 according to 247Sports. He enrolled at Georgia and played for the Bulldogs for two seasons, collecting 16 tackles and two sacks.
Jones Jr. entered the transfer portal after his sophomore year and followed in the footsteps of his College Football Hall of Fame father, Marvin Jones Sr., by joining the Seminoles. Jones Jr. racked up 25 tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble in nine games this past season and will search for his third school in four years.
Though Jones Jr. has struggled to find his footing at the college level since emerging as one of the top recruits in his class, he’s expected to have many suitors vying for his services. Here are five programs that could use the talented defender in his final collegiate season.
