Baker Mayfield, Tampa Bay Buccaneers 

Mayfield maintained a 3.0 GPA at Texas Tech before transferring to Oklahoma, where he received his degree in arts and sciences. The No. 1 pick from the 2018 NFL Draft scored 25/50 on this Wonderlic test. 

Mayfield has made his stance on the importance of academic competition clear. When Mason High School (OH) announced plans to eliminate valedictorian distinctions to reduce academic competition, he voiced his disagreement on X: 

“This is so dumb,” Mayfield posted about the school’s decision. “You’re telling me competition doesn’t bring out the best in people? If you want something bad enough, work for it. People are too soft.”
