Shorthanded Lancers Fall to Tritons at Home
RIVERSIDE - California Baptist women's basketball returned home after a five-game away stint to host the UC San Diego on Saturday afternoon. The Lancers came in severely shorthanded, dressing just seven players for the contest, and eventually fell 81-58 to the Tritons. Grace Schmidt and Sydney White paced CBU with a dozen points each, with White's contribution coming as a career-best for the sophomore. Nia Anderson also posted a career-high as she broke double-digit scoring for the first time as a Lancer with 10 points.
