‘A force in the paint,’ McFarland propels Oakdale girls past Linganore

After hitting a 3-pointer and forcing a turnover in the final minute of regulation, Oakdale junior Kenzie Walker looked to make yet another play that would help her team pull out a comeback win against rival Linganore. As Walker drove to the hoop, she figured she might get fouled. Instead, she put up a shot that was blocked by Kayleigh Lake. Then, Walker’s left calf cramped, sending her to the floor.
