Eagles acquire 19-year-old goalie Alexis Cournoyer from Drakkar
(DEC.19, 2024) - Today, Cape Breton Eagles general manager Sylvain Couturier announced the club has acquired 19-year-old goaltender Alexis Cournoyer from the Baie-Comeau Drakkar in exchange for a 9th round draft pick in 2026. Cournoyer (Trois-Rivières, QC) was drafted in 2021 by the Drakkar and currently plays with the Truro Bearcats in the Maritime Junior Hockey League.
