Moore is one of the most decorated women’s players on the 2025 ballot and had a tremendous impact throughout her career on the hardwood at both the collegiate and pro levels. The former McDonald’s All-American thrived under Geno Auriemma at UConn, claiming three Big East Player of the Year Awards, two Naismith Player of the Year awards and two national championships. The No. 1 pick of the 2011 WNBA Draft continued her winning ways as a pro, leading the Minnesota Lynx to four titles in seven seasons. The six-time All-Star and five-time All-WNBA first-team selection was named Finals MVP in 2013 and league MVP the following season. Moore’s resume is solidified with two gold medals at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics as she remains one of the most talented players women’s basketball has seen in recent memory.
