8. Lou Hudson (1964-66)

Nicknamed “Sweet Lou,” Hudson was an All-American and first-team All-Big Ten selection in 1965, when he averaged 24.8 points and 10.7 rebounds per game to lead the Golden Gophers to a second-place finish in the Big Ten. He finished his college career with 1,329 career points, averaging 20.4 points and 8.9 rebounds per game. In 1994, Hudson’s jersey, number 14, was retired.
