Bellbrook MS volleyball teams serve up success
BELLBROOK, Ohio — Bellbrook Middle School’s 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams had very successful seasons this year, thanks to a number of athletes who were wonderful both on and off the court.
We play in the Southwestern Buckeye League (SWBL) conference, which is divided into two divisions: Buckeye and Southwest. At tournament time both sides come together. Out of 12 teams currently in the league, the 7th grade team finished third, and the 8th grade team came in second.

Coaching allows me to get to know my students beyond the classroom. It’s neat to see the girls come together and work toward a common goal, while creating memories along the way.
Open gyms are held throughout the summer, for athletes interested in trying out. Tryouts are always the first week of Aug. Volleyball season—which involves daily practices and usually two games per week—runs from Aug. to early/mid-Oct.
