Top 10 Kansas Jayhawks basketball players of all time
5. Clyde Lovellette, C (1949-52)
Lovellette set the bar for excellence. The 6-foot-9 pivot man piled up the prizes in crimson and blue. Above all else, “The Great White Whale” was a winner. Clyde carried Kansas to the 1952 NCAA championship, winning most outstanding player. Lovellette still looms large over Lawrence.
