10. Ed Pinckney, C (1982-85)
Pinckney had a central role in one of the biggest March Madness upsets of all time. He posted 16 points and six rebounds in a 66-64 national title game victory over Georgetown.
For that championship run, Pinckney was the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player and an NCAA All-Tournament honoree. That 1984-85 season, his last as a collegian, he averaged a career-best 15.6 points, along with 8.9 boards.
Pinckney ranks sixth in Big East lore with 1,107 career rebounds.
