Deebo Samuel seeking trade: 5 possible landing spots
SAN FRANCISCO (BVM) — Deebo Samuel has proven to be able to rack up yards from scrimmage, it’s just that he didn’t do it this past season at the clip he’d posted as his expectation.
Samuel, an adept yards-after-catch receiver, is the only player in the Super Bowl era to post 4,000 receiving yards and 1,000 rushing yards through his initial five seasons. With 20 career rushing touchdowns, he has more than any receiver in NFL lore.
This time, after shopping Samuel last offseason, it appears the San Francisco 49ers will be shipping him away. He and his agent, Tory Dandy, have been granted permission to find a new destination.
He’s entering the final year of a three-year, $71.55 contract. Who might add and extend him?
