Ranking the 10 greatest Chicago Bulls players of all time
7. Derrick Rose (2008-12 and 2013-16)
Chicago’s hometown hero, Rose was the number one overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft and went on to be the NBA Rookie of the Year, an All-Star and the league’s MVP in his first three seasons. He is still the youngest player to be named MVP, receiving the honor in 2011 when he was just 22 years old, and it is the same season he led the Bulls to the Eastern Conference finals, their first appearance since Jordan’s era. Rose averaged 17.4 points and 5.2 assists in 723 regular season games for the Bulls. His jersey, No. 1, is set to be retired next season.
